1. How does the pricing work?

HALF DAY HIRE: Collect and return your equipment in-store within a 4 hour window and benefit from half day hire (Calculated as 2/3’s of full day hire. Not available on delivered items.)

ONE DAY HIRE: This is the rate for the first 24 hours.

ADDITIONAL DAYS: Additional 24 hour periods after the first day or week. WEEKEND: (3 for 1 Weekend Hire Offer) Reduced weekend rate - Pick up after 12pm Friday, return before 12pm Monday. We will only charge one days hire. (Offer only applies to non-account customers. )

WEEKLY: Pay for three days and keep for seven! Pay for first 3 days out of every 7 consecutive days hire.

All products in this catalogue are subject to availability. Items of a similar specification or alternatives may be offered.
While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the product information listed please use this information as a guide as different models can have slightly different specification. We recommend you check any crucial information before ordering as no liability can be accepted.

Please be aware it is the customers full responsibility to protect all equipment hired against loss or damage. You should always ensure you are adequately covered by insurance. 

 

2. How do I Hire?

You can place an order to hire in four ways:

In Store: Drop into us on the Dubllin Road, Dundalk.

Call Us: on 042 933 9500.

Online: Book a product for delivery or collection on this site.

In App: Download our app from the Apple and Android App Stores.

 

3. Is there a charge for delivery/collection?

Rates for delivery and collection vary with distance and will be quoted when you place your reservation. Deliveries are normally made Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 6:00pm and Saturday between 8:00am and 1:00pm. Transport planning is based on a delivery projection, we strive to have deliveries within a 1/2-hour time window.

There is a minimum charge of €10.00 each way (+VAT) for delivering to / collection from an address within four miles from our branch, then €1.50 per mile thereafter.

For large and towed equipment, additional charges may apply and will be quoted prior to confirmation of your contract. 

 

4. How do I arrange off-hire or collection?

Finished with the machine you’ve hired from Dromad Hire? Just call 042-9339500. Simply quote your contract number - we’ll cease the hire and give you a confirmation off-hire number.

Equipment will be collected at the earliest opportunity convenient for you, usually the next working day - another time saving idea from Dromad Hire!

(Items remain under your responsibility until collected by Dromad Hire.) 

 

5. Do I need Identification to Hire?

We request two forms of identification:

1. Photographic ID: Drivers licence or passport.
2. Proof of Address: Current utility bill or bank statement. 

 

6. How do I Pay?

Credit Card

All major credit cards are accepted. In most cases this means that your hire is completed before your card statement is due. For long-term hires, charges are made at two week intervals.

Cash or Debit Card

Cash or Debit cards are accepted at our depot. First time customers may be asked for a refundable security deposit.

Dromad Hire Loyalty Card

To reward our regular loyal customers the Dromad Hire Loyalty Card offers savings on all Cash and Credit Card hires subject to payment on contract.

Benefits include:

» Priority fast track service (Because the card holds your details, 
all you have to do is scan and go!)

*Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers 

 

7. What is my Responsibility for Equipment Return?

Equipment remains on hire until returned to Dromad Hire. If you require a collection, please telephone and ensure you obtain an ‘off-hire’ number. Security of equipment remains your responsibility until returned or collected by us. 

 

8. What if something is Broken, Damaged or Missing?

We do charge for broken or damaged equipment. Be sure equipment is secured when not in use and protected from vandalism or loss.

You should always ensure you are adequately covered by insurance as it is the customer’s full responsibility to protect all equipment against loss or damage. 

 

9. 10% Online Discount - How does it work?

When you hire online, the hire rate will automatically be reduced by 10%. *This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or sale items.
