More Specialised Scania Trucks For Dromad Hire - 10/04/2018 Tue, 10 April 2018

Dundalk based company Dromad Hire has recently invested in two more specialised purpose built trucks from local Scania dealer Granco Ltd.
The new trucks which have been designed and built specifically for the company, will improve Dromad’s nationwide distribution of plant and powered access equipment. 

Granco trucks based in Newry provided Dromad with the Scania units and chassis, they also handled the whole process from start to finish working very closely with Sterling bodies in the UK.

According to Dromad Hire's managing director Seamus Byrne "The new lorry’s are simply being added to help improve our delivery speed and service to our customers. They have been built to the exact spec that we require to transport such a diverse range of plant and equipment, both safely and economically. The bodies were built and designed by UK based company Sterling GP and they didn’t fail to exceed our expectations, their service and backup was second to none”. “As for Granco Ltd they already handle all our vehicle servicing needs, their customer focus, service and backup is probably the best in the country, and that is simply why we choose and stick with Scania.“

The body is equipped with many of the latest innovations from Sterling including the Gridlock composite decking system that has a high grip self-cleaning surface and a fully galvanised finish on the entire body ensuring a corrosion free life and lower maintenance costs.

The recent purchases are in addition to the first Scania unit the company took delivery of last year – which was also a joint venture between Sterling Bodies & Granco Ltd.
